'Dearly loved' Swansea dad killed in crash between electric scooter and parked car

The family of a man who died after a crash between his electric scooter and a parked car have paid tribute to him.

Julian Thomas, aged 55, from the St Thomas area of Swansea, died at the scene of the collision which happened at about 12.10am on September 20 in Baglan Street.

His family have since issued a tribute.

In a statement released via South Wales Police they said: "He was dearly loved by his children, Darran, Kelly and Heulwen, his grandchildren, sister, brothers, nephews and all his friends, which there were so many. He was a quiet unassuming man who would help anyone.

"He will be greatly missed by all who knew him."

Police are investigating the crash and appealing for witnesses to come forward.

A spokeswoman for South Wales Police said: "We are asking anyone with information about the collision to contact us via 101 quoting occurrence 2000344039."
