DeAndre Hopkins: ‘No argument at all’ that he is best receiver in the NFL

DeAndre Hopkins is the best receiver in the NFL, at least so says the man himself.

The Houston Texans star has never been short of self-confidence and rightly so. After a second straight first-team All-Pro season in 2018, the former Clemson receiver was asked on Thursday whether or not he believed he was the best receiver in the game, and his answer was unsurprising.

“No argument at all, man,” said Hopkins to Adam Schein of Sirius XM Mad Dog Sports Radio, via Pro Football Talk.

“I think some will try to debate it, but no receiver, I think, could put up the numbers I have with the situation I’ve been in. So for me it’s no debate.”

He may consider himself the best, however, he was ranked third among wide receivers behind both Antonio Brown and Julio Jones in the latest NFL Top 100. So it would seem that there are some in the league who are yet to be convinced.
