Deandre Baker trains with Hall of Fame DB ahead of NFL Draft

Georgia cornerback Deandre Baker, a former three-star recruit out of Northwestern High School, is preparing for the quickly approaching NFL Draft.

The Jim Thorpe Award winner will travel to Nashville for the first round of this year’s draft with hopes of hearing his name called on Thursday night.

Before setting his sights on Nashville though, Baker stopped by to see former Baltimore Raven and Hall of Fame defensive back Ed Reed. Baker received advice from Reed while working out in a Ford-sponsored event called ‘HOF Mentorship’.

As of now, the former Bulldog star is projected to be a mid to late first round pick on Thursday night. Teams that have shown interest in Baker include the Pittsburgh Steelers, Kansas City Chiefs, and Washington Redskins.
