Dean Windass hits out at Celtic skipper Scott Brown in bizarre social media outburst

Dean Windass has left supporters confused after posting a message about Scott Brown .

The outspoken former Aberdeen forward took to Twitter as he blasted the Celtic skipper.

Brown was charged by the SFA on Thursday for or "failing to act in the best interests of Scottish football" after celebrating in front of Rangers fans following his side's 2-1 derby win.

But Windass has now deleted the post where he claimed the beating heart of the Hoops has never been a "bloke".

The former Pittodrie star's pop is even more surprising considering he was once sent off three times in the once match against Dundee United in 1997.

The 50-year-old, whose son Josh played for Rangers before joining Wigan, posted the outburst to his 60,000 followers but it has now been removed.

The former Hull striker said: "Watching sky Scott brown what is going on in our game never been a bloke look in the mirror when you wake up to your children????"

Windass has never been shy in airing his opinions and previously stated he would "pull" Jamie Carragher's head off after claiming the Liverpool icon was a poor "mole rodel".
