Dean Holden makes Nottingham Forest claim as Bristol City look to increase Reds misery

Bristol City boss Dean Holden says Nottingham Forest still represent a threat despite their miserable start to the season.

The two clubs face each other at the City Ground this weekend with the Reds having had a terrible start to the campaign which has seen them lose all four of their opening games.

Forest not registered a goal either despite boasting a frontline of Lewis Grabban and Lyle Taylor, not to mention the threat of Luke Freeman and Joe Lolley.

Pressure has piled on Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi as a result, but Holden says that he would be foolish to believe the Reds don't pose a threat.

Speaking ahead of the game and reported by Bristol Live, Holden said: "I think they’ve got a forward line which I think most teams in the division would fancy having in their squad if you think about Grabban, Lyle Taylor, Joe Lolley, Freeman who I think is a top player, to name just a few there.

"We have to approach the game in the right way.

"They’re obviously on a bad run of form and have started the season poorly.

"They’ve not picked up a point or scored a goal but does that make them any less dangerous?

"No. It means that we’ve got to start the game in the right manner and not give a leg-up to the opposition where they can gain some confidence and a bit of belief.

"The way that we start the game is going to be important."
