
Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson has insisted he shares the same mentality as Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho spent over two seasons at Old Trafford after taking over from Louis van Gaal in 2016.
David de Gea remained the club's number one goalkeeper throughout, whilst Henderson had loan spells with Grimsby Town and Shrewsbury Town.
Since then, Henderson has established himself a serious threat to de Gea after impressing in two loan spells with Sheffield United.
The Manchester United goalkeeper has been linked with a move to Chelsea, while many have suggested he could be a real threat to De Gea at United ahead of next season.
Henderson will face off against Mourinho on Thursday night, with Tottenham the visitors to Bramall Lane.
And he spoke about his relationship with Mourinho ahead of the clash, insisting both he and the Spurs boss possess a similar winning mentality.
"I worked with him a bit at #mufc and... trained with him quite a bit and he’s a winner. He was good with me," Henderson told beIN SPORTS.
"He was happy how passionate I was. He liked that a lot. I think we’re pretty similar characters – winners. He’s a good guy."
