Dean Gaffney shares emotional post with twin daughters as he says 'family is everything'

Dean Gaffney has paid emotional tribute to his twin daughters while they self-isolate together amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Dean, 42, shared a selfie from his home with Chloe and Charlotte, 23, and urged followers to be grateful for the loved ones in their life.

The star, who recently did a stint on Celebs Go Dating, wrote: "Family really is everything at this time."

TOWIE's James Lock shared a heart emoji, while This Morning's Alison Hammond wrote: "Miss you Dean, hope you and family are well xx."

Celebs Go Dating relationship expert Anna Williamson, meanwhile, gushed: "Such a beautiful trio."

Dean recently feared he'd caught COVID-19, writing: "Haven't been able to smell or taste for 5 days...oh s**t!"

He's also been on telly screens for a Celebs Go Dating stint, where he became close pals with Alison, James and Anna.

The actor went through an awkward blunder as he questioned why people take part in reality dating shows.

"I think people who go on a reality show to find love...is it genuine?" he asked The Sun, "Are they really going for love or are they going for Instagram followers?"

He also revealed that his two daughters can boast that they turned down Love Island after producers approached them about making an appearance.

"They've been offered Love Island," he told, "But they're private, which is nice."

On the acting front, Dean complained to Mirror Online that he wouldn't be able to get a part in The Crown or Downton Abbey because of the "stigma" of being in a soap.

"It's hard for a soap actor," he explained, "Especially when you have played the same role for such a long time.

"There is some stigma. You can't go from a soap into some role on The Crown or Downton Abbey.

"The life of an actor is hard. You're only as good as your last job. You have to feel fulfilled and there's nothing worse than being sat at home all day watching TV."
