Eastenders star Dean Gaffney has been mocked on social media after posting a picture in which his credit card details were clearly visible.
The actor shared a picture of him cosying up to his girlfriend Rebekah Ward in a nightclub on Instagram, with his bank card held in his right hand at the bottom of the picture.
His bank details, including card number and sort code, could clearly be seen in the snap.
Gaffney, 40, seemed oblivious to his mistake and captioned the picture with a tribute to his girlfriend, writing: “”Blue steel! She drives me crazy but she is special to me!”
However, fans were quick to point out his error, with one follower commenting: “What’s it say on the little blue card mate?”
“Cheers for your bank details,” another joked, while one fan warned: “I can read your bank card.”
“Mr. & Mrs. Gaffney Sort Code/ Account Number,” another follower quipped.
Gaffney’s friend Calum Best even joined in, warning his pal to “Watch that bank card” and adding a crying laughing emoji.
The star eventually picked up on his mistake, deleting the photo and uploading a new version in which his sensitive financial information had been blurred out.
