Deals agreed to rent out 3 units at Nottingham's new Broadmarsh Bus Station and Car Park

Three units have been rented out at the new Broadmarsh Bus Station and Car Park.

Numbers 3 and 5 Carrington Street have been leased out for seven years, as well as Unit 7 in the concourse of the bus station.

The values of these units comes to £427,000, according to a document from Nottingham City Council.

The three units have been sold to two different parties - altogether there are five retail units in Carrington Street and two in the concourse of the station.

The city council document states: "The new Broad Marsh Bus Station and Car Park contains five retail units fronting Carrington Street and two internal retail spaces which have been marketed by FHP.

"Heads of Terms have been agreed with two parties covering letting of three retail units within the scheme.

"Letting the units will provide retail income to the Council and the Broad Marsh Bus Station and Car Park project.

"To progress the lease agreements and finalise the letting approval is required."

The decision was approved earlier this month and signed by David Mellen, leader of Nottingham City Council, along with Sajeeda Rose, Corporate Director of Growth and City Development.

The redeveloped car park opened in November with the bus station still to open.
