The 47-year-old played an 'operational function' in a large scale drugs gang brought down by the EncroChat hack, the Liverpool Echo reported.
"The conspiracy could not have operated without the actions you took," a judge told him.
He has now been jailed for seven-and-a-half years.
Porcelli was involved in the storage, couriering, cutting and supply of drugs on behalf of those higher up the chain, Liverpool Crown Court heard.
When police raided his partner's home, officers asked whether there were any drugs in the house.
"Class A drugs," he replied.
He was linked to about 1kg of cocaine which was recovered from the property in Wavertree, Merseyside.
Cocaine worth about £37,000 was found in two containers under pillows on a bed.
At Porcelli's home in Bootle, police found tick lists and wraps of 'white powder', including one retrieved from a pair of Ralph Lauren shorts.

Officers also seized several mobile phones, and found the picture of the Christmas tree.
Porcelli admitted conspiracies to supply cocaine, heroin and cannabis.
He had become involved in crime due to drug debts, the court heard.
He was a carer and is now drug-free.
Judge Anil Murray described the drugs gang Porcelli was involved in as a 'large, professional, sophisticated, well-planned, well-organised and successful' operation.
He was one of nine men jailed for more than 90 years.
High ranking drug dealers James Wright, 36, of Gateacre Brow, Gateacre, Liverpool, Sean Burrell, 29, of Park Road, Liverpool, and Thomas O’Brien, 43, of Finch Lea Drive, Knotty Ash, were sentenced to 16 years, 13 years and six months and 18 years respectively.
