Deal secured for one of most prominent offices on Derby’s Pride Park

One of the most prominent office buildings on Derby’s Pride Park has changed hands.

The property, One Pride Park View, has been sold to Derbyshire Investments Limited, in a deal overseen by BB&J Commercial.

The modern office building is currently let to Pattonair, which is a leading global aerospace and defence supply chain service provider. The business moved into the property last year.

According to Graham Bancroft, partner at BB&J Commercial, who orchestrated the sale, the deal represents the strength of the investment market in Derby.

He said: “The property is situated in what many would consider to be the best and most prominent position on Pride Park, overlooking Pride Park Stadium and Derby Arena.

“The location of the building, coupled with the fact that it is let to a very strong global business such as Pattonair made this an enticing investment opportunity.

“While there were the usual ups and downs through the legal process, all parties worked together sensibly to get the deal over the line.”

Scott Bailey, from Derbyshire Investments Limited, said: “We’re delighted with the purchase of 1 Pride Park View which fits nicely with our portfolio.

“The prominent position of the property was a big selling point, as well as having a superb tenant such as Pattonair offering a great covenant strength.”
