Amanda Staveley has insisted a Saudi funded takeover of Newcastle United is still ON.
The financier says she is still brokering the £305m deal which will go before a Premier League arbitration process in the coming days.
And dealmaker Staveley said: “We are looking forward to trying to get this transaction over the wall. And it will do.”
The deal collapsed a year ago after the Saudi state's Public Investment Fund withdrew, after disagreements and delays over it reaching approval by the Premier League who will run an owner and directors test.
But Staveley has confirmed that the PIF and still in the background ready buyout Sport Direct tycoon Mike Ashley, who is desperate to sell.
Some Newcastle fans are campaigning for the deal to go through, and for the Premier League legal processes to be made public.
The takeover is mired in issues, including TV piracy of games in Saudi, and a ban on broadcaster beIN Sports from broadcasting Premier League games in Saudi.
The PIF is chaired by Saudi ruler Mohammed bin Salman who has been accused of orchestrating the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
The PIF have also been accused in a Canadian court of owning the two planes which flew the Saudi hit squad to Turkey to kill and chop up the Washington Post correspondent.
But Staveley, who wants to be the front for reviving the club, said: “We are all still there, and are all still passionate about Newcastle - all consortium members are.
"I have made it very clear.”
Despite taking legal action against the Premier League, Staveley added: “One thing I want to make clear is that we want to have good relations with the Premier League.
"We're trying to become part of their institution. I don't want to draw battle lines, I want to say: 'Look this process is going on and we want to buy and invest in the club'.

"We are huge fans of football at all levels, grassroots levels is very important, so we are very supportive of Mike and we hope we can be supportive of the Premier League.
"We would never have backed a Euro Super League plan and I am hoping in the future, there's a way forward.
"We'd like the Premier League to run the arbitration in public.
"Mike would like the same and every question about how committed we were, what we want to do, it can be answered.
"I think it is an opportunity for the Premier League to take a view that they welcome transparency as well.”

Newcastle skipper Jamaal Lascelles has called for a “new mindset” to lift the club to a higher top flight position.
He reckons Steve Bruce's players have to be more ruthless and ambitious to make the new season a success.
