The recent buzz surrounding the third Deadpool film, featuring Hugh Jackman reprising his role as Wolverine, has reached a fever pitch with the unveiling of the movie's official title, Deadpool & Wolverine. Scheduled for release on July 26, this film marks a significant return for Jackman as Wolverine, coinciding with the character's 50th anniversary since his creation by comic legends Roy Thomas, John Romita Sr., and Len Wein.

The movie's preview became an instant sensation, becoming the most-viewed trailer of all time with an impressive 365 million views in just 24 hours. Fans were treated to glimpses of Logan in a white suit coat at a casino, hinting at the iconic 'Patch' storyline from the comics. The teaser also featured Logan preparing to confront Deadpool and a quick shot of him donning the yellow and blue suit, reminiscent of the classic comics.

To complement the film, Marvel Comics is set to release a 3-part comic book series titled Deadpool & Wolverine: WWIII on May 1, adding to the hype and anticipation of the movie's debut.

In a related announcement, Marvel revealed a trailer and March 20 launch date for X-Men: The Animated Series continuation, now titled X-Men '97, bringing back the nostalgic animated show with many original voice actors, including Cal Dodd as Wolverine. A comic book prelude to the series, X-Men '97 #1, is slated for release on March 27, along with five action figure variant covers for select X-Men titles.

Celebrating Logan's 50th anniversary, renowned writer Chris Claremont returns for Madripoor Knights #1, a new series inspired by his classic X-Men storyline. Claremont's writing has been instrumental in shaping Wolverine's character, providing depth and complexity that resonates with fans worldwide.

Claremont sheds light on Wolverine's enduring appeal, emphasizing his internal struggle and the physical toll of his powers. The iconic portrayal by Hugh Jackman in the X-Men films captures the essence of Wolverine, acknowledging the pain and sacrifice that come with his abilities.

Marvel Comics recently launched a collection of 15 limited-edition Wolverine variant covers for various titles, as part of the character's milestone anniversary. Notable artist Kevin Eastman, co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, contributed a variant cover for Dead X-Men #1, paying homage to Wolverine's enduring legacy in the world of comics.

The rich history and multifaceted nature of Wolverine continue to captivate audiences, cementing his status as one of Marvel's most beloved and complex characters.
