The deadline for applications to fill the two senior FAI board positions recently vacated is the close of business tomorrow.
That deadline is in place under FAI rules - but the newly established governance committee could implement changes before the July AGM that alter that position.
The posts up for grabs are honorary secretary and honorary treasurer. Long-serving duo Michael Cody and Eddie Murray stepped down recently against the background of the crisis developing within the situation.
Under current rules, an applicant for either position has to be nominated and seconded by someone who can vote at the AGM.
