BBC presenter Chris Packham has never been one to shy away from expressing his views and recently that has seen him hit with an aggressive backlash.
The animal lover, who presents Springwatch, has come under fire from large numbers of people for expressing his views on the killing of 'pest' birds.
Chris has called for the license that permits the killing of crows, jays and woodpigeons to be revoked.
The 57-year-old has set up a private, non-profit company called Wild Justice alongside two others, who launched a legal challenge to chance the laws around birds.
That viewpoint has led to one person setting up a petition calling for him to be sacked by the BBC, which has reached almost 100,000 signatures.
The petition says: "As an employee of the BBC, Chris Packham should remain impartial and keep his views and beliefs to himself however, he is the face of many anti hunting campaigns and uses his celeb status as a platform to push his anti hunting agenda, he has made his goal to ban all kinds of hunting, and country sports and pursuits and I feel he is no longer fit to work for the BBC."
However the campaign has gone a step further, with hateful acts of protest happening at his home.
Two dead crows were hung up by string at his home, with Chris reporting the act to police and informing his lawyers.
He said of the incident: "All it does is strengthen my resolve to make the UK countryside a better place for wildlife and the people who live and work there.
"In a very sad and perverse way this ghastly action indicates that I'm making progress. As I've always said 'I'm not here to make friends - I'm here to make a difference'."
