De’Vondre Campbell ruled out after taking friendly fire from Keanu Neal

Falcons linebacker De’Vondre Campbell took some friendly fire from safety Keanu Neal against the Redskins. Campbell was tackling tight end Jordan Reed when Neal flew in from the third level to make a vintage hit, which got Campbell.

Campbell was put through the concussion protocol and has been cleared from it. He won’t return the rest of the game, though.

Campbell is a key piece for the Falcons as their No. 2 linebacker. He primarily plays on the weak side. With Foye Oluokun also out due to an injury, they will have to rely on Duke Riley or Jermaine Grace playing that spot moving forward until Oluokun or Campbell can come back.

Update:

Tight end Jaeden Graham has also been ruled out with a knee injury.
