It seems that the former Dolphins being given the chance to compete in the Alliance of American Football (AAF) league are enjoying themselves. Just one day after former Dolphins defensive tackle Julius Warmsley logged a sack, running back De’Veon Smith has found the end zone.
Smith, a Michigan product in 2017, went undrafted but played on the Dolphins for five games that same year, logging three receptions for 27 yards. Smith did not allocate any carries out of the backfield.
Smith, who was cut by the Washington Redskins prior to the start of last season, scored the first touchdown by a running back in league history last week and now makes it two row with a score.
Smith also ran in the subsequent 2-point try, as there are no extra points in the AAF.
