De Bruyne and Jesus start - Man City predicted line-up vs Burnley

Pep Guardiola will be keen for Manchester City to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they face off against Burnley on Saturday.

City suffered defeat to Tottenham last weekend, where their attacking inconsistencies were shown once again, and were less than convincing in their midweek victory over Olympiacos in the Champions League.

At home against Burnley, City will be expected to secure all three points but it is the sort of game where they could face problems against a side that will be more than happy to sit back and defend.

That puts the pressure on City's attack once again but, despite having a full-strength squad, it is unlikely that major risks will be taken.

At the back, the defence is largely likely to stay the same with Ederson behind a back-four that includes Kyle Walker, Ruben Dias and Aymeric Laporte.

Joao Cancelo has been a regular at left-back this season and deserves to keep his place in the side ahead of Benjamin Mendy, who made his return from injury in Greece.

In midfield, significant changes may also not occur with Rodri continuing to provide protection to the defence while Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva control the middle of the park.

Riyad Mahrez, Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus are likely to make up the front-line and complete City's XI, with Guardiola wary of rushing Sergio Aguero back after a spell on the sidelines.

Predicted City XI: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Laporte, Cancelo; Rodri, De Bruyne, Bernardo; Mahrez, Sterling, Jesus
