The first round of the DC vs Marvel bracket had few surprises, with most top seeds coming out as victorious. There were some surprises in the voting, such as No. 8 seed Starlord even making a dent against No.1 Superman. I assume there are Starlord stans out there and while they didn’t win, they gave Jason Quill a respectable showing.
Other battles I expected to be much closer, like No. 7 Winter Solider vs. No.2 Batman, and yet, it was a pretty intense 70-30 split. Sorry to Bucky stans, but even a bionic arm isn’t a match for the caped crusader.
As we head into Round 2, the matchups get even more interesting, based not just on strength but straight up popularity. Superman vs Captain America, Hulk vs. Thor, Batman vs. Aquaman!
