It’s shaping up to be quite a week for comic book fans.
Zack Snyder’s infamous cut of the Justice League movie drops March 18 on HBO Max and Marvel’s long awaited Falcon and Winter Solider show debuts March 19 on Disney+.
To say DC and Marvel fans have been eagerly awaiting both releases for years is no exaggeration. And now, after so long, both are coming back-to-back which means the comic book cup really does runneth over.
To properly celebrate the bounty about to be bestowed, it’s time to rev up the well-worn but always fun Marvel vs. DC debate. We’re not talking movies this time, but overall characters. Instead of pitting franchise characters against each other, we decided to pit Marvel favorites against DC stalwarts, to see who comes out on top.
While some matchups —like Superman vs. Starlord—may seem like a slam dunk, never underestimate the devotedness of any particular fan base. Batman vs. Winter Solider seems like a no brainer, until you remember that Bucky has been trending every day on Twitter for the past week.
