The Deputy Commissioner’s Village Stay programme will be held in Periyapatna taluk in the district on April 16.
Deputy Commissioner Bagadi Gautham will stay at Komalapura village in Bettadapura hobli, taking the administration to the doorsteps of the people. They can get their grievances addressed by bringing them to the notice of the officials accompanying the DC. The villagers can submit applications seeking benefits under various welfare schemes.
As announced by the government, deputy commissioners, assistant commissioners and tahsildars have been told to stay in a particular village on the third Saturday every month to address the problems faced by the respective villages and the community.
Likewise, assistant commissioners and tahsildars of the district will participate in village stay programme at Narachanahalli in Mirle hobli in K.R. Nagar; Hebbalaguppe in Kasaba hobli in H D Kote taluk; Beddalapura village in Kodalike hobli in Sargur taluk; Kadanahalli in Jayapura hobli in Mysuru taluk; Shettahalli in Hanagodu hobli in Hunsur taluk; and Benakanahalli in Sosale hobli in T Narsipur taluk.
