Day of the Dead celebrations come to venues across the capital this Halloween

Jose Cuervo’s annual Day of the Dead celebration returns for its biggest party yet, and they’re inviting you to dance – and drink – the night away in bars across Dublin.

Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) is an ancient Mexican holiday that has been celebrated for more than 200 years, taking place from 31st of October to 2nd of November. It is believed that the dead return to earth to party side-by-side with the living as they celebrate life, embrace the day, and bare their souls. And this year, Jose Cuervo is inviting you on a journey like no other.

The Jose Cuervo team will celebrate in top bars across Dublin with complimentary Cuervo Squeeze cocktails, a team of make-up artists creating Sugar Skull makeovers and lots of Cuervo Day of the Dead prizes to be won, including make-up kits, tote bags and T-shirts.

Day of the Dead Cocktails

Make your celebrations authentic by serving up a selection of cocktails using Jose Cuervo Tradicional Silver tequila, the tequila that founded the category and celebrates a family tradition that started over 200 years ago.

Jose Cuervo Tradicional Silver is  made from 100% blue agave, making it the perfect partner for the best tasting Tommy’s Margaritas, Cuervo Squeeze with sparkling lemon or the grapefruit and lime classic, Paloma.
