Dawn Ward's daughter Charlie rushed to hospital after being hit by a car

Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward has revealed her daughter Charlie was rushed to hospital after being hit by a car.

The reality TV star, 45, tweeted an update to her followers on the ordeal which saw her 12-year-old receive urgent medical care for her injuries.

The collision left Charlie with a fractured skull for which she was treated at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.

Dawn wrote: "For everyone asking my Daughter Charlie was hit by a car yesterday she has a fractured skull and shoulder very bruised but stable thank you for all your messages @RMCH_Ward78 have been amazing."

Dawn is a mum of four girls with her retired footballer husband Ashley Ward .

The TV star and businesswoman lives in a £15million mansion with her husband.

It comes as Dawn's 21-year-old daughter Taylor was in the spotlight for giving up her elusive job in fashion in order to become a social media influencer.

Taylor has over 214,000 followers on  Instagram , posts regularly on the social media site about her clothes and various product ads.

Dawn is known to be an easy-going parent, as it emerged that she let her daughters have plastic surgery.

She has since been under fire for allowing her young daughters, including 22-year-old Darby, to have boob jobs.

And when her daughter Darby defended her mum, it all proved too much for the reality TV star and ended up crying live on air.

She said: "My girls are 21 and 19 - and I've said that they're strong girls.

"And I want to be a supportive parent. She's come to me with a suggestion that they want to do something to their body."

She added: "So the first thing I've said to them is, 'Ok, I'm really glad you came to me'. We went to get the right advice, search for the best surgeon. And you know, we went to the surgeon and things could have been very different.

"If there was any point that that surgeon went, 'Do you know what? I don't think it's right for your daughters, it's not worth the risk' then I would have said to my daughters 'Do you know what, I don't think it's right'."
