On Wednesday, many Georgia football players, coaches, and staff members paid a visit to Camp Sunshine, a camp in Georgia that is set up every year for children dealing with cancer.
In the video, various Dawgs players and coaches can be seen giving out bracelets, meeting with visitors, and playing dodgeball and other games.
Coach Kirby Smart also took the time to speak to the campers and help motivate and encourage them. Even the more marquee, “name brand” Georgia players like D’Andre Swift and Jake Fromm made the trip.
Events like this speak volumes about the culture within this Georgia football program. The team clearly recognizes that they have a giant impact on their community and that they do so much more than just play a game.
