Davina McCall has given a brilliant response to a follower who complained she is 'too old' to be wearing a dress she chose for The Masked Singer.
Many viewers and fans praised the presenter on Saturday night as she posed in a silky white split-to-the-thigh gown ahead of appearing on the ITV singing show.
Former Big Brother host Davina, 53, was applauded as fans said how refreshing it was to see an untouched image on social media.
However, one was less than complimentary and when Davina saw the comment she clapped back in the best way.
The nasty comment read: "Old over sun-kissed woman should cover up ... stunning dress but not for the wrinkly crinkly... demure for the mature."
Davina replied: "Really sorry . Absolutely no chance of demure over here sue... growing old disgracefully is far more fun," alongside multiple laughing emojis.
The TV star was quickly defended by many of her 2.7m followers.
One wrote: "Meeeooow! @ThisisDavina You look amazing. If you've got it flaunt it is what I would I say to that .You are like a fine wine. Love your dress. Hot."
"Oh my gosh what a nasty comment! Davina looks stunning! If I looked like this there is no way I'd want to be demure! My mam taught me if you don't have anything nice to say then keep it to yourself," another added.
A third said: "Not a bloody wrinkle on her! Looks better than I do and im 20+ years younger. If you got it flaunt it comes to mind. What’s wrong with some people and their unnecessary opinions."
