Davina McCall confuses The Masked Singer fans with 'wrong episode' blunder

ITV's bizarre and brilliant competition, The Masked Singer, was back on our screens on Saturday night.

The show saw Martine McCutcheon identified as the Swan, but viewers were distracted by Davina McCall's awkward blunder.

Davina, who is a judge on the show alongside Mo Gilligan, Jonathan Ross and Rita Ora, shared a look from an unaired episode, baffling ITV fans.

The panellist showcased her stunning outfit on social media but mixed up her weeks and posted the wrong ensemble.

As soon as the show aired, fans flocked to the comments section to ask why she was wearing a different look on The Masked Singer to the one shared on Twitter.

Quickly realising her mistake, Davina wrote: "Oh no wrong ep!!! I posted the wrong dress."

Davina then shared the right outfit and admitted the look "was so far back" in her photos after filming took place earlier this year.

"I was wondering why you were wearing a different outfit," wrote one viewer.

Another added: "I'm still confused by the dress"

A third confused fan commented: "Just switched on programme... you've changed your frock and hair."

Martine McCutcheon unveiled as Swan (ITV)
