Davina McCall avoids talking about 'new hairdresser boyfriend' on This Morning

Davina McCall managed to expertly avoid talking about her reportedly new hairdresser boyfriend during her appearance on This Morning.

The £100K drop presenter, 51, showed off her cookery skills on the ITV show today and didn't mention her rumoured new love.

Instead, she showed Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield her 'lemony chicken' recipe while simultaneously promoting her new healthy eating app.

She was married to Matthew Robertson from 2000 but the pair announced their separation in 2017.

Davina has been friends with her stylist Michael Douglas, 45, for more than 20 years, but a have suggested they're now more than just friends.

They are said to have been spotted looking close at the Chelsea Flower Show in London on Monday, and The Sun reports they're an item.

A source said: "Davina feels ready to move on now after her marriage split and is really happy.

"The romance blossomed from a place of friendship and trust and the couple are just enjoying each other’s company and having a laugh..."

News of the potential new relationship comes two years after the breakdown of Davina's marriage.

She recently admitted having a career and being a mum-of-three has made her a “difficult prospect” for new men.

The star said: “I was in a relationship for 20 years and there is a lot more for me to think about than finding a date.

“Life is different. I have three children and a career. Not many people ask women like me out on dates.

“It would take someone who didn’t mind all those particular challenges.”

However she is adamant that she does not need a man in her life to be happy.

She added: “Women are perceived as only being properly happy and OK if they have a partner. Why is being single viewed as a bad thing?

“I have been out on dates – but can’t a woman be single and happy?”

The TV presenter is mum to three kids - Holly, 17, Tilly, 15 and 12-year-old Chester.

Mirror Online has contacted a representative for Davina for comment.
