David Walliams presses Golden Buzzer for amazing Sign Along With Us after unforgettable audition

There were tears on Britain's Got Talent on Saturday as David Walliams hit the Golden Buzzer for an absolutely amazing choir after their unforgettable audition.

It happened less than an hour into the first episode but Britain's Got Talent might already have its most memorable moment of the new series thanks to Sign Along With Us.

Sign Along With Us, are a signing choir, aged 4-58 from Manchester. Consisting of 37 children and 28 adults, the group sang and signed to The Greatest Showman’s ‘This is Me’ and prompted floods of tears and a standing ovation from everyone in the room.

The choir was formed by Jade, 18, after she started a class for her brother Christian, four, who was told he might not ever talk again. Thankfully, Christian defied the odds and joined Jade and many others on stage to belt out the world famous movie anthem.

Among the other members of Sign Along With Us was Pride Of Britain winner Ella Chadwick, who was presented with her Child of Courage award at the annual ceremony by Simon Cowell.

Ella, 11, even drew Simon a picture, telling him "it's so you don't forget me," before he told her "I'll never forget you."

But it was David that was Sign For Us' biggest fan as he got up out of his seat and hit the Golden Buzzer for them as both Alesha Dixon and Amanda Hoden broke down in tears.

The reaction to Sign Along With Us was huge on Twitter too. One viewer posted: "Myself and my dad that doesn't show his emotions all that often have just cried our eyes out, that was the most deserved golden buzzer," and another reacted: "Game over- put them straight to the Royal Variety Show, these kids are wonderful."

Other memorable acts from the first episode of the new series included contortionist Papi Flex and I ndian dance group X1X Crew, who both got four yeses each.

The BGT auditions continue on ITV next Saturday.
