As children across the country have been home schooling, many have been reading their favourite books to help them with their literacy.
However one Hamilton schoolgirl got an extra boost from her number one author, David Walliams.
Zoey Thom, who attends St John’s Primary, submitted her book review on his popular children’s novel Ratburger to her school.
The school kindly shared a picture of Zoey and her review on their Twitter page, but little Zoey got a surprise when Mr Walliams himself liked the tweet.
Zoey was delighted to get the ‘like’ from the popular author and television presenter, and hopes one day to be an author like him.
The youngsters picked up the book at the school’s book swap stall on World Book Day.
