David Walliams jokes he'll sue Simon Cowell over Britain's Got Talent backstage crash

David Walliams threatened to 'sue' Simon Cowell for £1 billion after a backstage crash at the Britain's Got Talent auditions.

Britain's Got Talent returned to screens on Saturday and kicked off with a video of judges David, Simon, Amanda and Alesha travelling in a buggy with Simon at the wheel.

When Alesha asked Simon if he has seen where the brake is, the music mogul worryingly replied: "Yeah, it's not working."

As the buggy careered down the backstage area, David screams "use your brakes!" but to no avail as the buggy collided with another vehicle.

Looking less than impressed, David turned to Simon and said: " "I've got whiplash. I'm going to sue you for a billion dollars."

We're sure that's just a drop in the ocean for Simon, who was left in tears during the auditions when he learnt of the heartbreaking past of 'magic dog' Miracle, who was rescued from a cage stuffed with more than 1,000 dogs and adopted by Amanda Leask, who has won awards for her work with rescue dogs.

Another stand out audition came from dance duo Jasmine and Aaron who left BGT hosts Ant and Dec hot under the collar with their sizzling routine.
