Britain’s Got Talent judge David Walliams confessed Ant McPartlin’s return to the show was “emotional”.
Ant take a year off from all TV commitments after admitting himself to rehab last year, after being arrested for drink driving.
Dec Donnelly’s pal reunites with him for the new series of BGT which launches on the weekend, with the auditions already filmed.
Speaking of the moment Ant and Dec filmed together again for the first time, David confessed it was “emotional” to see.

He said: “It was lovely to see when they stepped back on the stage together in London how excited people were to see them together.
“It was really emotional and I was pleased for them. It was just how it always was.”
Amanda Holden also talked of having Ant back on the team, confessing it “hadn’t been the same”.
She said: “Oh, this year has been so lovely! The live shows were not the same without him.
“We are the best team, we get on so well, we can take the mickey out of each other, we support each other and there’s a natural chemistry between us all that you can’t make happen with other panels.”
Meanwhile, their fellow judge Alesha Dixon said Ant’s return made filming feel “normal”, ahead of the big launch on Saturday night.
She revealed: “It’s been like getting the family back together, it just feels normal.
“We’ve been working together for so long now that when we’re together it just feels right.”
Britain’s Got Talent 2019 launches on Saturday on ITV at 7:15pm.
