David Turnbull 'watched' by Celtic during closed-doors clash amid fresh transfer links

Motherwell star David Turnbull is reportedly a target for Celtic once again.

It has been claimed that Hoops scouting supremo Nicky Hammond watched the midfielder during the Steelmen's closed door clash with Kilmarnock last week.

David Turnbull made his return from injury before the end of last season (SNS Group)

The Daily Mail state that Neil Lennon has maintained "regular checks" on the fitness and form of the Wishaw footballer after the collapse of his move to Celtic Park last year due to injury.

Earlier this month, the 21-year-old was also linked with a move to Stoke as speculation over a move away from Fir Park rises.
