David Turnbull reveals Celtic dressing room showdown talks as he outlines 'start clicking' hope

Disappointed David Turnbull has opened up on Celtic crunch talks between players and management after a sluggish start to the season.

Defeat to Livingston means that Ange Postecoglou has yet to win away from home with the Parkhead side in mid-table.

With three home wins and three defeats on the road, Celtic have taken just nine points from their opening six games.

And that's the worst run since the 1998-99 campaign under Dr Jozef Venglos.

With the Premier Sports Cup clash against Raith on Thursday, Turnbull has revealed behind the scenes conversations have taken place to get the season back on track.

He said: "We know Sunday wasn't good enough, but the games are coming thick and fast.

"It's just about putting that right with the game tomorrow and we are all looking forward to it.

"We had a meeting during the week after it (the Livingston defeat) and we were just discussing everything.

'Where we felt we went wrong, how to put things right and put our style of play to good use; what we have been doing.

"It's just about doing that in every game and we have went over that, and hopefully it starts clicking for us now."
