Aston Villa are reportedly targeting Celtic midfielder David Turnbull in a big money summer raid.
The 21 year-old has been excellent since joining the Parkhead side and his performances have been recognised by winning the biggest two accolades at Celtic 's end of season awards.
He has also scooped the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year and earned a call up to Steve Clarke 's Euro 2020 Scotland squad.
However, The Scottish Sun report that the English Premier League side are "lining up" a move for the playmaker this summer.
Boss Dean Smith is reportedly keen to use to Scottish market to recruit the next breakout star having found success previously with John McGinn.

A £7million offer is being touted, which would mark a massive profit margin with the former Motherwell man moving to Parkhead for £2.7milllion last summer.
It would be a blow to the club with Turnbull proving to be one of the rare shining lights during a nightmare season.
There is no doubt the next boss, with the frontunner remaining Eddie Howe, would look to keep the star.
