David Turnbull was buzzing to score a double in his first experience of a sold-out Celtic Park since joining last summer.
The Wishaw ace has played in front of empty stadiums since joining Celtic from Motherwell and he admits the fans' presence has been missed.
Turnbull scored an impressive brace as Celtic beat FK Jablonec 3-0 to cruise past the Czech side, 7-2 on aggregate, to set up a Europa League play-off against AZ Alkmaar.
The 22-year-old hasn't been at his best so far this season but he's determined to prove his worth under new boss Ange Postecoglou.
“That’s what we’ve missed for the last year and a half,” Turnbull admitted. “It’s my first time experiencing it, on the home team, and I loved every minute of it.
“They were great from minute one to the end and we are looking forward to playing in front of them more.”
“I’m absolutely delighted for myself because the first few games of the season have been tough personally.
“It’s just about sticking in and I knew it would come. That’s my first goal of the season, I want to continue that and get more - I’m buzzing.

“Yeah, it was a great performance. There were a few wee things that we can improve on but it’s something to build on after the last few results.
“It went great for us but we need to build on that now and keep the momentum going.
“He wants us to work on playing possession and attacking football. He wants us to express ourselves and it’s great for the team.
“We need to trust each other and that’s what we are doing at the moment.”
