Harry Potter star David Thewlis is to play a dangerous sociopath in a new dark comedy-thriller opposite Bank Of Dave star Rory Kinnear.
Wrong Move will also feature Torchwood’s Eve Myles and Eleanor Tomlinson of Poldark fame, with the six-part series due to air on Channel 4.
It is created by Ben Edwards, with filming currently under way in West Yorkshire.
Channel 4 said Thewlis plays Trevor, whose vengeful tendencies and last-minute decision to pull out of a house sale “sends shockwaves through the entire property chain”.

Myles stars as Catherine, who desperately hopes a move into her dream “forever home” will save her marriage to Michael, played by Kinnear.
Michael’s patience is tested as the chain begins to crumble, while Tomlinson is Stella, who, alongside her partner Juliette (Gwyneth Keyworth), is preparing for the arrival of their first child and is also affected by Trevor’s decision.
A Channel 4 spokeswoman said: “Packed with twists and turns, Wrong Move delves into the complicated lives of the people trying to take the next steps up the property ladder, and the misguided notion that moving house can fix everything.
“The truth is you can move, but your problems come with you.”
