David Tennant and Michael Sheen's comedy Staged will air in coming weeks as date confirmed

David Tennant and Michael Sheen are set to reunite in less than two weeks as the date for their comedy show has been confirmed.

According to David's wife Georgia, fans won't be waiting too long for the hilarious series to start as she announced it will air on BBC One on Wednesday June 10 at 10:45pm.

The Doctor Who actor, 49, and his Good Omens co-star, 51, will lead the new series which is set and filmed in lockdown.

It's set to be a hit with fans as the show is based on the current worldwide pandemic, and actors David and Michael will pretend to play part of the cast of a West End production who have been furloughed due to the crisis.

Sharing the exciting news on Instagram, Georgia wrote: "What's the worst that could happen?"

The actress and producer, 35, shared a screenshot of Michael and David chatting over a Zoom call, which is what the show will be based around.

It read: "Confirmed: Wednesday June 10. 10:45pm."

Fans were going wild in the comments as the long-awaited show will be on screens in days to come, following BBC's announcement last Friday.
