An immersive Good Omens experience disguised as a run-down bookshop has arrived in Soho.
The expansive five-floor venue brings to life A.Z. Fell and Co – the shop at the heart of the six-part Amazon Original series, which was adapted from the 1990 hit novel by Neil Gaiman and the late Terry Pratchett.
Set inside a Victorian townhouse on 19 Greek Street, it is modelled on Michael Sheen's character Aziraphale’s bookshop hideout.
The 1934 Bentley Derby Coupe driven by David Tennant's demon Crowley is also parked outside the replica shop.
Sheen spoke about the pop-up experience, saying: “It’s to give the fans of the book and the TV series, hopefully, a taste of the Good Omens world. They can have a whole experience on five floors. It’s a fantastic recreation.”
“When we first got involved, we were very aware there was a lot of pressure," Tennant added about the show’s debut on Amazon Prime.
"This is a beloved book and these are beloved characters and it was a pressure to not break them – to deliver them to the public.”
Lasting half an hour, the experience allows fans to enjoy an escape room challenge, starting in a recreation of hell which includes an array of props and costumes from the show, as well as original artwork and on-set drawings from portrait artist Lorna May Wadsworth.
The Escape Room experience and exhibition is open now and runs until Sunday June 2 at 19 Greek Street. Tickets are available here.
