David Stoker gears up for first ever headline gig at famous Newcastle venue The Cluny

He's performed at various events and locations in and around Newcastle and now David Stoker is gearing up to headline one of the city's most famous music venues.

David, who you might recognise as the host of Stack's open mic nights, will top the bill at The Cluny on Tuesday, April 30.

Singer, songwriter and producer David has performed all over Tyneside and further afield, but what is different about his show next week is that he'll be performing all original material.

David has a number of self-penned tracks under his belt now, including Fake Love and Surrender, which are both available on Spotify.

Talking to Chronicle Live about his headline gig, David said "I have been singing and producing for years, but it was only until I formed a band that my music was really brought to life.

"I would say that my style is Pop with elements of Indie and Rock. With catchy guitar riffs and high energy performances i really hope to put on an exciting show for everyone!

"It’s an amazing feeling getting to this point where I am putting on my own show in such a prestigious music venue in my home town!"

Support on the night will come from Joe Treacey and special guest Kay Greyson.

Advance tickets, priced £5, are available online from Ticketweb.
