David Seaman predicts Tottenham vs Arsenal north London Derby result

Former Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman is backing his old club to come away from the north London derby against Tottenham with all three points when they meet on Sunday.

Tottenham go into the weekend's matches at the top of the league and eight points clear of their neighbours.

Arsenal haven't won a league game at Tottenham since March 2014 and last season they were beaten 2-1 after taking the lead through Alexandre Lacazette.

The Gunners are in desperate need of a win after a poor run of form which has seen them slip to 14th in the table and score just 10 goals in as many games this season.

But despite the going into the game as underdogs, Seaman believes Arsenal can sneak a win.

"The game with Spurs is going to be tough," Seaman told the Target Men podcast.

"I can’t see us keeping a clean sheet, but I do think we can nick a 2-1 win.

"They [Spurs] are a good unit and they’ve got a great mix of players, especially with their strike force in [Harry] Kane and [Heung-Min] Son and now with [Gareth] Bale there as well.

"It’s going to be a tough ask for an Arsenal team going there with no confidence.

"But with Arsenal, you don’t know what you’re going to get and all I can think of is going to Man United and beating them 1-0 again."
