David Schwimmer has broken Friends fans' hearts by denying he's dating co-star Jennifer Anniston.
The duo, who played on-again-off-again Ross and Rachel are said to have 'grown close' since the show's reunion, but David's management said there's no truth to any rumours of a hook-up.
The fan favourites, who stole the nation's hearts in the 90s sitcom did admit to having a "major crush" on each other while filming the show.
David told reunion host James Corden: "We were both crushing hard on each other, but it was like two ships passing. One of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that boundary."
However a source recently claimed to Closer magazine: "After the reunion, it became clear that reminiscing over the past had stirred up feelings for both of them and that chemistry they’d always had to bury was still there.
"They began texting immediately after filming and, just last month, David flew from his home in New York to see Jen in LA."
The i nsider also said that Jen has been cooking for David at her home and they'd been spotted visiting a winery in Santa Barbara together.
However, a representative for the Kissing A Fool actor has said that there is "no truth" to the rumours of a romance.
Rumours of a romance between the pair have been circling for years, but Jennifer has revealed she would be "proud" to say she 'banged' David - if it had happened.
Jennifer discussed her and David's relationship further when appearing on Sirius XM's The Howard Stern Show on Wednesday alongside Friends co-stars Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow.
She said: "The beauty of that was that whatever feelings we had we just literally channelled everything into Ross and Rachel and I think that's maybe why it resonated the way it did. But no, we never - on my life, and Courteney and Lisa would know and can vouch for me."
Stern was not so convinced, but Jennifer affirmed that the pair never consummated their attraction to each other and her co-star Courteney Cox backed up her friend's claim while appearing with her on the radio show.
Jennifer added to convince the veteran host: "No. I would proudly say I banged Schwimmer if that happened. But no."
Jennifer's first major high-profile relationship was with actor Tate Donovan. The couple started dating in 1995, before going their separate ways in 1998.
The actress later went on to marry Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt, before divorcing him in 2005 after seven years together.
In August 2012, Jennifer and actor Justin Theroux announced their engagement and got married in 2015. Sadly, the couple’s romance came to an end when they made the decision to split in 2018.
David, meanwhile, married British artist and waitress Zoe Buckman back in 2010 when David was 44 and Zoe was 25. They divorced in 2017.
