David Prutton hands out score prediction for Nottingham Forest's clash with Swansea City

Nottingham Forest return to Championship action this weekend as they face a trip to Swansea City.

The Reds travel to the Liberty Stadium to take on the Swans, who are currently top of the table with 16 points from their opening six league matches.

Forest themselves have enjoyed a steady start to the season, with Sabri Lamouchi’s side unbeaten in all competitions since their opening day defeat to West Bromwich Albion.

The 1-1 draw with Preston North End prior to the international break leaves Forest in 10th place in the Championship table with nine points from their opening six league matches.

Ahead of Saturday’s trip to south Wales, former Forest midfielder and current Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has made his prediction.

Prutton reckons that Forest will come away with a point against the Swans, and claim a 2-2 draw at the Liberty Stadium.

“What an exceptional start it has been for Swansea, capped off by that impressive late win at Leeds before the international break," said Prutton.

“It has been a dream for Steve Cooper in his first senior management role.

“Nottingham Forest have been ticking along under Sabri Lamouchi but an inability to get back-to-back wins in the Championship seems to be holding them back at the minute. Score draw for me.”
