David Njoku, Seth DeValve active at Browns practice after missing time

The Cleveland Browns just got a lot healthier at the tight end position. Starter David Njoku and reserve Seth DeValve both returned to practice on Monday in Berea after sitting out some sessions and the second preseason game in Indianapolis over the last few days.

Njoku missed the last week after tweaking a knee. His absence was considered precautionary. In his second NFL season, “Chief” hauled in 56 receptions and scored 4 TDs as the team’s full-time starter.

DeValve has been out nearly all summer with a concussion. He has battled a litany of injuries throughout his 4-year Browns career, including missing almost all of last year’s training camp with a hamstring issue. He caught five passes in 13 games last season.
