David Njoku broke his wrist vs. Jets, out at least 4 weeks

Bad news on the Browns injury front: Starting tight end David Njoku broke his wrist on the hard fall he took against the New York Jets on Monday night.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Njoku is seeking a second opinion on whether surgery is needed to repair the fracture.

Njoku will miss at least four weeks. If surgery is required, he could miss the rest of the season. Njoku also suffered a concussion on the same play, and that was the official reason for his removal from the game on Monday night.

In his third year, Njoku was expected to make a big leap in the new offense. He caught four passes for 37 yards and a touchdown in his four-plus quarters of 2019.
