David Moyes confirms West Ham are interested in signing Darren Randolph

David Moyes has confirmed that West Ham are keen to sign Ireland goalkeeper Darren Randolph.

But the newly appointed Hammers boss claims he is not the only keeper on their radar.

Middlesbrough have rejected a West Ham attempt to bring the Bray man back to the club he left in 2017.

Moyes said: “If good players are available, we’ll be looking at them. But we’re talking to other goalkeepers, not just Darren.

“There are others in the pipeline too, but I know we’re looking to add another goalkeeper to the squad.”

Boro boss Jonathan Woodgate has attempted to play down an imminent move and claims bid speculation is still wide of the mark.

Woodgate said: “Darren is a Middlesbrough player, there’s no updates on that until I tell you otherwise.

“He’s an important player for me and the squad. No one has come in for him with a bid so we’ll cross that bridge when we get there.”
