David Moore jukes his way to his 1st touchdown of the 2019 season

The Seattle Seahawks defeated the Los Angeles Rams, 30-29, in a Thursday night thriller at CenturyLink Field.

Quarterback Russell Wilson threw four touchdown passes, and while most will remember the outstanding throw and catch to Tyler Lockett and the game-winning, near-drop by Chris Carson, Wilson also connected with David Moore for his first touchdown of the 2019 season.

Moore caught a screen pass at the 12-yard line late in the third quarter and juked his way into the end zone, giving Seattle a 21-20 lead while also giving him his sixth career touchdown.

“I also loved the play that David Moore put in the end zone,” coach Pete Carroll commented after the game. “I mean there was no chance they were going to tackle him. He got the ball in that kind of space. It was a beautiful job there.”

Moore emerged as Seattle’s No. 3 receiver last year after only playing one game in his rookie season. He finished the year with 26 receptions for 445 yards and five touchdowns, doing most of his damage in the middle part of the campaign.

He was all set to reprise that role again this season, but a shoulder injury limited him in the preseason and kept him out of the first two games of the year.

He’s back now however, and his versatility in the passing game gives the Seahawks another weapon for Russell Wilson to utilize.

The Seahawks will look to go 5-1 on Oct. 13 when they take on the Browns in Cleveland.
