David Luiz names the 2 Arsenal stars he jokes with and makes Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang admission

David Luiz spent a portion of the international break in Rwanda.

The Brazilian defender visited the African nation as part of the Gunners' partnership with Rwanda.

Visit Rwanda has been emblazoned on the sleeve of the Arsenal kits since last season, following a reported £30million deal with the country's tourism board.

The sponsorship deal caused controversy when it was first announced, given the poverty suffered in many parts of the country.

Before he went, Luiz said: "I have heard wonderful things about the breath-taking beauty of Rwanda and its people, and I can’t wait to experience the country and all it has to offer.

''Football has the amazing power to bring communities together and drive social change, and the Arsenal shirt has a unique ability to reach fans all over the world."

Luiz posted photos on his Instagram account when he went out visiting gorillas in the wild as well as meeting the country's president Paul Kagame.

And during his visit, Luiz sat down with a group of fans for a question and answer session.

He was asked, amongst others, who the happiest member of the squad was, and after a brief pause and a shout from the crowd about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the defender said: "Auba is always laughing. I say to him 'Auba, stop laughing' but of course he's going to laugh, he scores goals every week!

"It's like me enjoying this week. I was so happy because I scored and then you have the international break, so I have two or three weeks more to enjoy!"

And Luiz also revealed the role he plays with the younger players in the squad too.

"I like to joke with Joe Willock and Reiss Nelson because they are so young," he admitted.

"I always joke with them and make them laugh. They try to make me laugh, but it's a great atmosphere to be sure."
