David Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald arrive for OTAs

The Arizona Cardinals opened the week of voluntary organized team activities on Monday without several veterans. Among those absent for the first day were Patrick Peterson, David Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald and Terrell Suggs.

On the second day of practice, at least Johnson and Fitzgerald were present.

On the team site, photos from Day 2 of OTAs show both Johnson and Fitzgerald. Johnson was suited up and practicing. Fitzgerald was not. His photos were with no helmet and talking to coach Kliff Kingsbury.

Of course, Fitzgerald doesn’t need to get these reps in, especially when he will later.

There were no photos of Suggs or Peterson, although Peterson is not expected to participate in OTAs.

Kingsbury said on Monday that there has been great communication from those who did not show up. There have been no surprises and it is voluntary this time of year anyway.
