David Healy admits he is already looking to next season as he plots more glory for Linfield
The Blues held their annual awards night last Saturday to recognise the players who helped the club claim a domestic trophy double.
Healy's side surged to the Danske Bank Premiership title and also lifted the BetMcLean League Cup with a 1-0 win over Ballymena United.
Not wanting to stand still, Healy says the club is already laying the foundations for next season and beyond.
"We don't get much of a break these days. We are tying up loose ends from last season and then preparing for pre-season again," Healy told the club's website.
"The players are on a well-deserved and well-earned break, but we are looking forward to them coming back for their pre-season programme.
"We can' stand still. We are looking to sign good players. You want to keep adding to a quality squad.
"The players are aware of that. This season is gone and it is a clean slate. The players have to come back feeling fresh and ready to go again."
Healy praised his squad following their trophy double last season.
The club had seven players represented on the NIFL Team of the Season, while Jimmy Callacher was crowned Ulster Footballer of the Year and Danske Bank Player of the Year.
Healy was also recognised for the stellar season by being named BetMcLean Manager of the Year at the NI Football Awards on Monday night.
"Jimmy has picked up a few awards. The Ulster Footballer of the Year, our Linfield award, the more prestigious one," Healy said.
"It is important for Jimmy that you are also recognised in and amongst your peers, and he won the Players' Player of the Year. So that would be special.

"Any of the players are deserving of any awards they win."
Reflecting on seven of his players making it onto the official NIFL Team of the Season, Healy added: "It is incredible and a huge compliment to the players who were nominated.
"Credit to them. If I had my way I would maybe have had another three or four in there.
"We had a lot of questions thrown at us at the end of the previous season, and I am immensely proud of the players who ave everything from day one."
