David Haye has responded to Adam Thomas’ bullying allegations, calling the actor “weak” and defending his behaviour as “banter”.
The actor and the boxer frequently clashed on I’m A Celebrity… South Africa, with Haye calling Thomas “useless” after he was unable to take part in a trial. Thomas, who went on to win the show, claimed that Haye tried to “break” him.
The 45-year-old has now responded to Thomas’ bullying claims in an Instagram post on Thursday (30 April).
“ The little light sprinkling of primary school banter that I gave him, which was so gentle. He nearly had an emotional breakdown over it, and started crying,” he said before mocking Thomas’ emotional recent podcast appearance.
He also said that more information will soon come to light which will contradict Thomas’ version of events.
